Accessibility Statement
How Manatu is made accessible, the standard we follow, known limitations, and how to ask for help.
Version 2026-10-12Last updated Oct 12, 2026
1. Our commitment
We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to report issues, follow replies and run their feedback with Manatu. This statement is published under the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law and its service accessibility regulations (2013).
2. Standard
We build Manatu to Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA, and we aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA.
Conformance status: partially conforms. On 11 October 2026 we audited every page, in Hebrew and English, on desktop and phone, in light and dark mode, with automated testing (axe-core, WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 level A and AA rules) and with the keyboard, and fixed every critical and serious issue we found. The exceptions we know about are listed under "Known limitations".
3. What we have done
- Every action can be done with the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator. "Skip to content" is the first stop on every page. Menus open with Enter and move with the arrow keys; menus, drawers and dialogs move focus inside when they open, keep it there, close with Escape and give focus back to the button that opened them.
- Pages use headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can navigate them; icon buttons have accessible names.
- Full Hebrew support with right-to-left layout, and English; the language of each page is declared.
- Text and controls meet AA color contrast in light and dark mode, including the colors an app's admins choose for statuses, labels and branding (we adjust their shade where needed); color is never the only way information is shown (statuses also have text).
- Layouts adapt to phones, tablets and desktops, and work with browser zoom up to 200%.
- On phones, the main controls (navigation, menus and primary buttons) are at least 44 by 44 pixels, and other links and buttons at least 24 by 24 pixels or spaced well apart.
- Animations and transitions are turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors are described in text next to the field.
4. Known limitations
- Drawing on a screenshot (the annotator) needs a mouse, pen or touch to place shapes. Its toolbar works with the keyboard (Tab, a shortcut key for each tool, Ctrl+Z to undo, Escape to close), and you can always send the screenshot without annotations and describe the issue in text.
- Screen recordings, images and files that users upload are their own content; we cannot add captions or text alternatives to them.
- Charts in the admin reports have a text summary for screen readers, but their individual data points cannot be explored with the keyboard.
- The Chrome extension depends on the accessibility of the Chrome browser itself.
- The feedback widget runs inside other companies' websites; the accessibility of those websites is their responsibility.
We keep testing as the service changes and will update this statement. If something is hard to use, please tell us (see below).
5. Physical service
Manatu is an online service only. We do not operate a physical service location for the public.
6. Need help or found a problem?
If something is hard to use, or you need information in another format, contact our accessibility coordinator. Tell us the page address, what you tried to do, and the assistive technology you use (if any). We will reply within 5 business days.
